Summer heat

Wow! What a hot summer we are having here in SC!! Hope that everyone is under the AC or in the pool keeping cool! Have found some great items around at some local sales! Nice wrought iron table, perfect for sun porch or dining room, a modern glass coffee table, and some plant containers!
 I am finally coming around to "shabby chic-ing" some itmes I have found. Love the look of painted and reclaimed items, just never tried it, and now I have found a new theropy!! Yay!!

Indian Tree Platter or Chop Plate Wood and Sons Ltd. England

Oval Multi Color Indian Tree pattern platter or chop plate. Clearly marked Wood and Son Ltd. Burslem England. 10" long approx. 8.5" wide. No chips, some gold has rubbed as expected with age and use. This particular company uses black around some of flowers. We have a similar plate marked Coalport in Indian Tree.

Green and Gold Ornate Shabby Chic Wood Frame. Frame is more green than appears. This is not a new coat of paint. Aged green and old gold. 18" across, 20" long and inside frame hole is 8" by 10". One small place where carving chipped as expected with age. This beauty is old. Wonderful patina and display worthy.
